Ok, kettles and the problem with the limescale.

Some of us live in areas where the water is very hard and our kettles get full of limescale in a blink of an eye.

I do try to avoid the use of any chemicals around the house, so decided to use white vinegar and have a go removing the limescale.

1 Pour a cup of vinegar into the kettle and put it to boil - REMEMBER to put the extractor fan on or open a window.

2 While the kettle is heating the vinegar and the steam is coming out - BE CAREFUL NOT TO GET BURNED -  get  a dry cloth and use the steam of the kettle to clean the outside of the kettle

3  After the kettle is finished boiled remember to wipe the base of the kettle.

4 Let the vinegar cold down inside the kettle.

5 With a kitchen brush, give a good brush off and leave it for a while longer.

6 Rise the kettle and boil it with clean water a couple times to remove the taste of the vinegar.

Nice and clean, well, for a couple of days.

Or anything that needs the watermarks removed around the house or garden.
