EASY STEEPS TO LOOK AFTER SILVER HEIRLOOMS

    If you are lucky enough to have inherited some silver heirlooms from your family and find very difficult to keep shiny and sparkling, I have a good trick that requires very little work and ONE simple rule - After they get used and before they get stored away  I clean them with good silver polish. 

   What is need:

   -  Good silver cleaning product - I like Golddards silver polish

   - Plenty of  clean cotton cloths

   - Fairy liquid

   - Soft scorer

   - Cling film

1 In a sponge with the soft side put a drop of silver polish and a drop of fairy liquid

2 Wash it until they lost the yellowish colour and become shinny.  

3 Rinse it with tepid water and dry them straight away. 

4  Wrap them in cling film.

5 Next, put them into a cloth bags and store it in a dark place.

Next time you need them they are ready to use.

       

If you follow this steps you will see you will use them with more frequency. 

 NOTE :

Try to avoid salty and acid foods.

Never leave salt in silver things

Please never put any silver cutlery or any silver things in a dishwasher, it will make them very yellow and black and will very difficult to make them shiny again.
