FOUND A WAY TO MAKE BANANAS TAKE LONGER TO RIPEN

For years most of my friends and family thought I was crazy because I covered the bananas with cling film and foil in order to make them last longer to mature and to ripen at different times.

Today my husband came home from the shops with a bunch of bananas with the top of them covered with a big thick opaque plastic bit and he goes “look they are doing the same thing you have been doing for ages ”

This is what I have been doing for a long long time

STEP 1 - I separate the bananas into 2 different bunches, the one I want to eat now and the one I want to keep it for longer. The bunch I want to last longer I cover it with cling film and foil.

STEP 2- In order for the ones with the rapping to last longer I keep them out of the light, far away from heat, far away from the other bananas and also far away from any other fruit. (They are a very unsocial bunch 🙈🙉🙊🤣🤣🤣🤣 )
