HOW TO CLEAN A CHANDELIER

The short days have arrived and we tend to have the lights on much early, that means, we can see the crystal pendants in the chandelier are dull and dusty

So time to clean it.

WHAT IS NEEDED:

-  A thick towel or blanket

- Kitchen paper

- White vinegar

- Clean cotton cloth

- Steps/ ladder

1 MAKE SURE THE LIGHTS ARE OFF AND THE BULBS ARE COLD BEFORE BEGINNING

2 Put the thick blanket under the chandelier to catch and cushion any pieces that may drop.

3 Set the steps/ladder up so that it is stable. 

4 Wet the cloth -the cloth has to be just damp, the last thing need is to much water in the electrics.

5 With a damp cloth slightly dip into the vinegar.

4 Start at the top of the chandelier and work your way around the chandelier, moving from top to bottom and from the inside to outside

5 With a damp cloth with a drop of vinegar wipe each piece of crystal.

6 Rinse crystals with a clean damp cloth  and dry them with the kitchen paper

P.S. Don’t forget to dust the light bulbs when you are finished.
