HOW DO I STOP MY CLEAN CLOTHES PILING UP WHILE WAITING TO BE FOLDED/IRONED ?

Does it happen to you?

You take the time to separate the dark clothes from the whites before putting them to wash, you pre-spray all the stains,  you take care so they do not get too wrinkly but when is time to fold/iron and sort them out and put them way it can get a bit overwhelming

So I have a few simple rules

1 After the washing machine finishes, remove the washing straight away from the machine.

2 Give a good shake ( if you have a tumble dryer just dry them for 5 minutes, unless is towels, then let them dry completely)

3 Fold and let them be (30 minutes). Do something else for a while.

4 Give a good shake again, hang them.

5  THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE  leave them on the hangers until you have the time or the energy to iron/fold or you need the space to put a new load of wash to dry,

REMOVE, FOLD, IRON, STORE THEM IN THE WARDROBE

This way you will avoid creating piles of clothes and a never-ending of socks to fold.

NOTE As you fold/ iron sort them straightway by person - remembering to put t-shirts on top of t-shirts, shirts with shirts and so on -  so they can collect they own  and put them  away.
