HOW TO HAND WASH VERY FRAGILE GARMENTS

Some garments are very tricky to wash, either because of the quality of the fabric or the way they were made, others have strange shapes and trying to keep that shapes after washing them, can be a pain and a very scary process. Sometimes it's so much easier to send them to the dry cleaners and let them deal with the problem. The problem with that is, not only do they come back smelling at chemicals it's also very expensive.

If you are brave enough to give a try to my way of washing them. Here are a few little steps you can follow, not only you will be saving money,  your clothes will be smelling  much nicer than those ones that have  been dry cleaned

STEP 1- ALWAYS  read the label and the instructions

SETP 2 - In a bowl put some water at room temperature adding to it Woolite. Check for stains and pre-wash them, do check if they do not smell under the arms special if they are jackets - only then  immerse all garment in water

SETP 3 - Rub your garment very gently

STEP 4 - Rinse with tepid water and comfort

STEP 5 - DO NOT wring the garment, just squeeze as much water as you can.

STEP 6 -Lay a dry towel on the floor and then the garment on top of it, folding the garment nicely

STEP 7 - Roll the towel gently making sure you flat any wrinkles you see

STEP 8 - Press firmly along the roll, trying to remove as much water you can

STEP 9 - Lay a dry towel on the floor and dry your garment on top of it. Make sure there are no wrinkles, if so use your hands gently removing them

As you can see looks pretty good and smells heavenly

Because I washed at home I saved a lot of money on the dry cleaning

NOTE If after 24 hours the garment is still damp, remove it from the towel and replace it with a new dry towel carefully repeating step 9.
