DIFFERENT WAYS TO CLEAN DIFFERENT CORDS AROUND THE HOUSE

Having guest makes one look at our home with different eyes.

We use things every day, but, never really look at them until someone comes to visit us. 

Im having a friend over and want to have things clean and tidy. 

As I went to the toilet just notice this.

A very dirty electric cord.

 Do not have the time to go shopping so decided to have a go and clean it.

What is need it:

- Gloves

- Bowl

- Domestos - bleach

1 Remove it by unscrewing from the main support.

 2 Pour hot water into the bowl adding bleach to it, put the cord inside.

3 Give a good scrub.

4 Let it soak for a while.

5 Rise it and put it back into his place

I will not get embarrassed this time 

P.S. Learn my lesson.

From now on I will make sure to take the cord down regularly, put it in a wash bag and wash them in the washing machine with my whites.

SECOND method

 Not all the cords can be removed, this cord was attached to the blind.                                                       

 I had to clean the cord without removing it, taking care not to damage the blind 

What was needed:

- Gloves - always wear gloves if dealing with chemicals

 -Domestos - bleach

- Kitchen brush

- Clean cloth

- Thick Sponge Cloths

1 Pour a bit of bleach into the clean cloth.

2 Go up and down the cord.

I took care not to touch the blind with the cloth the last thing wanted was to bleach the blind.

3  Get the thick Sponge Cloth put the cord on top of it and with the brush give a good scrub.

4 Rinse and let it dry.

Not to bad if i say so.
