Some times accidents happen and we do not have time to get a cloth in order to avoid blood fowling into the carpet.

I found A way that works. My way is simple and without chemicals, it is simple but it takes a bit of time and patience but it works.

MATERIALS

1 Gloves 2 Kitchen paper 3 Fine table Sea salt 4 Bowl with cold water (always cold water) 5 Hard brush & dust pan 6 Plastic bag to dispose the salt and the kitchen paper

Instructions for blood stains that are still wet

1 - With gloves on, get a paper towel wet and drop a few drops of water in order for the blood to be more soluble (do not over wet the carpet you just want wet enough for the salt to work).

2 - Squeeze the water out of the paper towel on top of the stain.

3 - Pour the fine sea salt into the blood in the carpet and as you do it you can see the white salt turning red .

4 - Once the salt is saturated with the blood remove it with the hard brush but if you still can see the stain repeat steps 1 to 3. Keep doing it until you are happy with it.

5 - After trying for a couple of times and if you can not see the stain so using the kitchen paper pat dry the carpet ( now is when patience and time is needed), as you lift the paper you still can see a bit of red on the paper, so you have to start from the beginning again from step 1 to 4.

6 - After trying for a couple of times, if you do not see the stains any more and the kitchen paper after patt drying the carpet is coming wet but pure white that means the stain is gone.

7- keep pressing the paper towel into the carpet until you can see the paperr towel comes dry.

8- Let the carpet dry naturally for a couple of days and then you can give a good hovering.

PLEASE remeber to dispose of the kitchen paper and the salt responsibly.

Instructions for dried out blood stains. If the stain has dried out do not despair a few drops of cold water ( just a few drops, you do not want the carpet saturated with water ) and let the water do her thing. After a couple of minutes when you see the blood is gone soft pour salt into it, wait then follow steps 1 to 5.
