HOW TO REMOVE A MOULD MARK ON A WOOD FLOOR LEFT BY A FLOWER POT
At this time of the year most of us will start to bring some flower posts in doors and forgetting to put some kind of protection between the pot and the floor.
Just in case this hapen to you here is what I did (PLEASE try first in one corner of the room to see if you do not stain or damage your floor)
All that is needed is a clean damp cloth, domestos and some gloves.
1- Into a damp cloth put a few drops of bleach .
2 - With it pat into the stain (do not let the cloth stay for to long)
2 - Keep checking the stain. Pat and check, Pat and check. If is still there, rinse the clothe with some tepid water and with the clean cloth remove the bleach from the floor (you do not want to soak the wood with bleach) and start again
. I had to try a couple off times.
Patience and time.
Did not came off 100% but is much better then what it was. Because this floor is painted pine I was a bit aprencive and worried tha the paint could came off but it was ok in the end.
