MY LITTLE WASH BAG ZIP TEETH, ARE BROKEN BUT I CAN NOT THROW IT AWAY. HOW TO MAKE THE ZIP WORK AGAIN?

I like to recover or fix things that are broken. This time let’s see if I can fix a broken zip in a little wash bag.

As you can see the teeth of the zip came unattached from the cloth and the puller is out of the track.

What is needed to fix it - Needle - Thread - Scissors

STEP 1 - Cut one bit of the zip track that is loosened in order to put the puller into the track so it can work again.

STEP 2 - Bring the zip all the way down and fit the bit that was cut into the zip. Once the zip is in the tracks pull it upwards.

As you can see the zip is back on the track and working again

STEP 3- Stich both ends together far away from the cut bit, in order to keep the TEETH together and to keep the zip closed.

Stich both ends together far away from the cut bit
All done and working again

All done and working again

MY BAG was broken at both ends so I give a good stich at the other side also .

Good as new and ready to use, again.
