HOW TO REMOVER WATER MARKS FROM A BATHROOM STONE

My friend moved into a new house and I went along to help her with the first cleaning.

While cleaning the bathroom I noticed that the stone surrounding the bathtub had a few water marks.

With her on board we decided to see if we could remove it.

WHAT WE USED

  • White vinegar

  • 2 clean cloths

1 - In order to see if what we were going to do would not damage the stone, we chose a corner of the stone no one would notice, just in case things did not go to plan. I sprayed a bit of vinegar into a damp cloth, give a wipe to the stone, rinsed and waited a bit, everything seems ok, we were happy with the result so we moved on to tackle the watermarks.

Happy with the result we decide to remove the watermarks bit by bit ( do not spray the all stone, do it in little areas so the vinegar does not stay in contact with the stone for too long.

2 - Give a bit of spray and with a damp cloth give a good wipe and rinsed straight away.

3 - Did the same to all the watermarks, a bit at the time.

4 - Give a last wipe with a damp hot cloth and in the end buff it dry with a dry cloth

We were amazed how well it worked.
