HOW TO REMOVE BURNED FOOD FROM A CREUSET POT

Accidents will happen, two seconds of distraction and food get burned to the bottom of the pan, but there is a solution that it makes it possible to re-use the pan again.

WHAT IS NEEDED

  • Gloves

  • Water

  • A good brush

  • Good quality dishwasher tables (the ones I used this time were fairy liquid dishwasher tablets)

STEP 1 - Fill the pot with 3 fingers of water( you do not want to fill the pot with too much water, just enough to help the scrubbing of the pot) add two dishwasher tablets to the water and bring it to a boil. After it starts boiling, lower the heat and let it boil gently.

STEP 2 - With a brush (not a plastic one), gently scrub the bottom of the pot, every so often. It is a process that will take a bit of time and patience. I tend to do other things around the kitchen, remembering to go back to the pot to give another scrub.

NOTE: Never leave the boiling pot unattended.

STEP 3 - When you see that you are happy with it, give a good rinse to the pot.

NOTE - As you see is nearly all gone. It is much better then it was and the pot can be used again.
