WHAT A PARACETAMOL TABLET HAS IN COMMON WITH A BURNED IRON PLAT

I'm very careful when I'm doing my ironing. I keep checking I have the right temperature for each fabric, but the other day I just miss judged how hot the iron was and end up with a black burn on the iron plate.

A long time ago I remember my mum cleaning the iron with a candle wax. I did try that but was so messy and decided to have a go with the paracetamol table instead - the internet is full of people saying it works wonderfully - So let's see.

WHAT WAS NEED IT

- 2 OLD CLOTH

- SOME PARACETAMOL TABLETS

- A VERY HOT IRON

STEP I - Get the iron very hot - PLEASE remember to leave the iron while heating up, in the rest position.

STEP 2 - Break the tablets - just a bit - over the old cloth, not straight into the iron cover.

Step 3 - While the iron is hot, go a couple times back and forward over the tablets - do not leave the iron in the same position for more than a second, do not want to end up with a burned cloth.

After o few presses - as it can be seen - some black is staying behind over the tablets and the cloth.

Can see bit of improvement .

STEP 4 - Gather the tablets together on the border of the iron board with something other than the fingers - the tablets are very hot and will burn the fingers.

STEP 5  - Go up and down over the tablets a couple of times.

STEP 6 - Get the second cloth a bit damp.

STEP 7 - By pressing the iron over an damp cloth and going back and forward, it removed whatever bits of black that were still attached to the plate of the iron.

NICE AND CLEAN AND NO MESS.
