How To Wrap Your Presents The Easy And Eco-Friendly Way

I’m always careful not to make too much rubbish but at this time of the year, it is a bit difficult with such a big family and so many presents to buy, wrap, give away and receive on Xmas eve, my family ends up at the end of the evening with black bags full of leftover ripped and crunched paper wrappings.

So this year I decided I’m not going to buy any paper wrappings I’m going to go around the house looking for old clothes, old sheets and of bits of fabric and I’m going to wrap my present with them.

The hope I have is that in the end of the evening we will collect the bits of fabric, wash them, iron and put them away until next time. There is no need of black bags for me - well maybe just a little one because some present still come inside boxes.

I know there are 2 paper bags but I run out of fabric, next year I will try again.

My wish for this year is that my family approves my idea and next Xmas they will take on board my suggestion and have a go trying to reduce the amount of paper we make around this festive time.
