How to remove mould from inside the fridge

By accident, the power to this mini fridge was turned off and no one noticed for a while, in consequence, it end up covered in mould.

What is need

Clean cloths

White vinegar

Bleach

Dry cloth

Method 1

1 - Remove the shelves and trays, give them a good spray with the vinegar and let it soak

2 - One bit at the time spray vinegar into the mould stains inside the fridge, wiping it straightaway as it goes along.

3 - With a damp cloth give a good wipe, double checking if all mould stains have been removed.

4 - Move to the doors and to the rubber sealants around the door, following step 2 and 3.

5 - After cleaning the shelfs on the door I noticed that same stains were not badging.

Method 2

1 - Rinse the door very, very carefully with a damp cloth by REMOVING ANY RESIDUES OF VINEGAR ( vinegar and bleach is a very, very bad combination)

2 - Into a clean damp cloth put a pea size of bleach and carefully press into the stain ( do not let it stay too long otherwise will stain the plastic) Rinse and do it again if necessary

3 - Wash the shelves and give one last wipe inside the fridge including the little freezer and put everything back into the fridge Not to forget to clean also outside removing any watermarks or fingerprints

NOTE If the fridge is going to stay unplugged for a while put a clean dry cloth on the door, preventing it from closing by mistake and by doing that you are preventing any more future accidents.
