A VERY QUICKLY WAY TO CLEAN/WASH DIRTY LEGO

I still keep all of my son's toys around the house. The other day I was tidying up and found a box full of LEGO but they were a bit dirty and covered in dust. No way I’m going to wash all of them by hand.

So decided to wash them in the dishwasher

STEP 1 - Had a look carefully at each piece to see if they did not have any stickers (those ones can not be washed in the dishwasher)

STEP 2 - The big blocks went on the slots of the plate

STEP 3 - The other ones I divided as best I could, being careful not to put them in a way that they might foul down. I used the cutlery basket and colanders because did not have enough space on the top rack.

STEP 4 - I washed them on the prewash program. Mine does not heat the water and does not have a drying program

STEP 5 - Once the program was finished, I removed everything from the dishwasher and put all of them to dry on top of clean tea towels.

Good as new. The rubber of the wheels did not dissolve, even the eyes of one of the lego pieces are still there.

FYI - In order to keep the clean and dust free, I bought a see-through plastic box with a lid.
