THE BEST AND EASIEST WAY TO PEEL GINGER IT IS NOT WITH A KNIFE

I do not use a knife to take the skin of the ginger root, I use a teaspoon.

REMOVING THE SKIN

STEP 1 - I Put the ginger root in one hand and with the spoon, in the other hand I just scrap the skin out, it is as easy as that.

STEP 2 - This one was a bit dry at the ends, so I had to cut off the very hard bits with the knife ( If the ginger is very fresh you will not need a knife even for that)

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT ADVICE. DO NOT PUT GINGER PEELS OR THE LEFTOVERS STRINGY BITS DOWN THE FOOD DISPOSER EITHER BIN THEM OR DISPOSE OF THEM INTO THE FOOD RECYCLE BIN.
