HOW TO REMOVE THE BLACK SCRATCHES LEFT BY METAL BLINDS ON THE WHITE WINDOW FRAMES

Metal blinds are useful and tend to last a lifetime. The only downside I find on them is that they tend to leave black marks on the window frames, especially in summer when our windows are open and the wind makes the blinds go back and forward.

I found an easy method to remove the black marks, all I need is a damp cloth and a little drop of Cif

STEP 1 - Put a little drop of Cif into a damp clean cloth

STEP 2 - By going up and down with the cloth and pressing gently, I start removing the black marks.

STEP 3 - With a clean damp cloth remove any traces of the cif.

NOTE OF ADVICE There is no need to scrub very hard, you do not want to remove the paint. These windows were painted at least 20 years ago and they still look good

The frames are white again and no traces of the black marks.

FYI - You will need a bit of patience but put your headphones on and enjoy the music.
