HOW TO KEEP FRIDGE/FREEZER SELANT CLEAN IN TWO LITTLE STEPS
Food tends to fall into the magnetic sealants of the fridge/freezer doors and if left for too long can create mold and dry out and in consequence, it will be very difficult to remove them, so cleaning the seals of the fridge/freezer should be done regularly.
My way of doing it is very easy but needs a very gentle hand.
STEP 1 - Into a clean damp cloth, spray a bit of white vinegar, put the handle of a spoon on top of the cloth, fold it and go up and down the grove, (very gently and do not press too hard, you do not want to make a hole or worse damage the sealant. If you fill too nervous, use a toothbrush instead to scrub all the bits of food stacked to the groves of the sealant. Repeat as many times as you see fit.
STEP 2 - After all bits of food/grease and god knows what else are removed, get a damp clean cloth to rinse the seal very well and dry it very gently with a dry cloth.
NOTE - The spoon in this position is also perfect to reach the very difficult corners of the shelves in the fridge.
