HOW AMAZING ARE SELF-CLEAN OVENS

A Friend of mine that does end-of-tenancy cleaning asked me if I could help her (the girl that usually helps her, was sick and she really needed to have this flat cleaned.)

I was amazed at how this self-clean oven cleaned itself (more or less).

The first thing my friend did as we arrived at the house, was to open all the kitchen windows, (she said if the oven is very dirty, it will create smoke and that will set the smoke alarm off).

She collected all the oven trays and put them all inside the oven. Choose the self-cleaning program and press start. That was all.

Then we went and started cleaning the house

By the time we got to the kitchen the self-cleaning program was finished and we could open the oven door, ( she said, after the self-cleaning program is completed, we CAN NOT open it straightaway, we have to wait to cool down. Is a safety device, so no one can get burned).

As we opened the oven I could see that it was full of a white powder and the only thing she did was to go with a damp clean cloth and remove the white Ash from inside the oven

The trays, we just had to rinse them with clean water and a bit of washing up liquid, dry them and put it back inside the oven.

AMAZING

NOTE - IF YOU HAVE A SELF-CLEAN OVEN, DO READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS CORRECTLY. NOT ALL OVENS WORK IN THE SAME WAY. SOME OF THEM HAVE PARTS THAT CAN NOT STAY INSIDE THE OVEN WHEN THE SELF-CLEAN PROGRAM IS ACTIVATED.
