HOW MUCH HOUSE WORK CAN I DO IN 2 HOURS

This week is a week to help out a friend.

This is a 2 bedroom apartment, very tidy person, so nothing on floors.

The Lady likes to leave a list of what are the most important things that she would like to be done on the day.

So today, the kitchen, bathroom and some ironing

STEP 1

STEP 2

KITCHEN

  • There are a few pots in the sink

  • Wipe all watermarks from the backsplash around the worktop and cooker.

  • Give a quick wipe to all the cupboards doors and handles ( they are not dirty just have a few water marks and fingerprints)

  • Kitchen table

  • Wipe fingerprints from the glass door (not the ones that go outside, just the one in the kitchen)

  • Clean sink and tap

  • Sweep the floor

NOTE I like to pour a bit of bleach in the drains after cleaning the kitchen, not only keeps a clean drain it also removes tea stains from it ( do not leave it for too long)

STEP 2

BATHROOM

She does not have too many things on surface’s top.

  • Clean basin and taps

  • Clean shower

  • Clean toilet

  • Wipe the dust off the bathtub (no one used it, so it is clean but has a bit of dust )

  • Dust off the worktops and remove watermarks around the basin

  • Sweep floor

STEP 3

IRONING ( let’s see what we have )

2 fitted sheets

2 double duvet cover

7 pillowcases

1 t-shirt

2 Napkins

ALL DONE

Because I still have a few minutes left, I went into her bedroom, puff up the pillows and straitened up her duvet and made the bed.

Give a quick sweep to the floor with a duster Sweeper

All rubbish out: normal rubbish, recycling and food recycling waste.

All done in 2 hours

VERY IMPORTANT: This Lady is super clean and does not have too many things on top of surfaces, does not cook that much, so a cooker is pretty easy to clean and she puts all her dishes in the dishwasher. This is the reason I can do so much in two hours.
